Developing Self-Awareness
Coaching involves a balance between supporting and assisting the participant, while challenging their commonly held beliefs and behaviours. This includes reviewing problem solving approaches, decision-making processes, interpersonal communication, self-management and self-perception in general.
To achieve tangible and sustainable change, coaching must assist the participant to realistically and objectively recognise their own interpersonal strengths and weaknesses. This focused self-insight is the foundation needed to recognise the behaviour modification required to step to the next level and recognise how and when to apply new skills.
Transformational Approach
We achieve behavioural change through a transformational approach. The coach guides, pushes and challenges the participant to learn new skills. This assists the participant to identify solutions and behaviour changes that will achieve enhanced outcomes. |
